Scenario
A Norwegian family vacationing in La Palma is thrown into chaos when a researcher discovers signs of an imminent volcanic eruption that could cause a massive tsunami. I liked it very much.
I binge-watched all of this because I couldn’t stop watching
The sets and cinematography were brilliant, as was the standard of the animation, which felt very real. The tension was non-stop as at some point it just flicks a switch and then won’t let you go.
There are still a few silly bits, but if you can ignore that 10%, it’s still brilliant
What’s really strange to me are the little plot holes and the silly teenage romance that feels a little childish and slightly detracts from what is otherwise a solid piece of television. I don’t know why they did that because in some places I found myself practically tweeting at the screen.
Really, really nice to watch and I would recommend it to everyone
Actually, I felt a little guilty giving this movie a 7/10, because if it weren’t for these minor flaws, it probably would have been an 8 or more. Merry Christmas!
