In the eighth season, Angel Batista was not always played by David Zayas. His son, David Zayas Jr., replaces his father in some scenes, as they look very similar throughout the first season. This will be my first review on IMDb, not a day goes by that I don’t go to IMDb to see reviews of movies or series that I watch, I watch a lot of movies and series. For the first time in my life, I couldn’t sleep after watching the series. I saw “Escape from the prison”, “Heroev” and many others. The first season of “Prison Break” and “Heroes” was fantastic. They inspired me so much that I made tattoos on my body. However, both of these series were interrupted as soon as they moved on to the next season. Heroes was a huge disappointment, but Dexter… oh my god, episode after episode I’m starting to get so excited for the next episode… damn season four. I couldn’t sleep all night after watching it. I spent the weekend watching the episodes back to back. Let’s start with Dexter (Michael C. Hall), his darkness is out of control, he played the role so well that sometimes I wonder if he is like that in real life, but then I found out that Debra Morgan (Jennifer Carpenter) is him real wife who plays his sister in this series. Damn, Debra is such a messed up character and mostly controlled by the people around her, she’s always doing something wrong, but she’s always getting credit for good things too. I like the part where you get to know what’s going on in Dexter’s head when he’s thinking about something or when someone is talking to him, and also the part where he talks to his late father Harry. (just think about what his father would say in such a situation). All series/characters and all seasons are written and acted so well that you can hardly find a fault. My favorite characters are Dexter (pretty obvious), Rita, and Vince Masuka. Damn, Vince is so funny, say one word for the whole series and it’s funny as hell. I can’t wait for season five and I’m sure anyone who watched Dexter thinks the same way I do. (I apologize if my first review contains mistakes and hurts someone’s feelings)
