They are also partially recognized as a fixer, problem solver, and mediator..
I like the show and everything Taylor Sheridan does, but where was the technical consultant
During the accident at the pumping station, Billy Bob doesn’t even hold the wrench correctly. No one on the set knows what to advise him on such a simple matter. I had to scroll through it again because I couldn’t believe what I just saw.
And a manual monitor for detecting explosive gases
And at the scene of the accident, a real film crew would have the appropriate equipment and working skills. For example, a 36″ spanner that a few guys could take. No one will knock on a short spanner with a hammer.

Having worked in similar places, I can say that the show is ridiculously far from the safety measures used in the industry, which OSHA is by the book. No one will stand on a truck with pipes, and no one is at height without a seat belt.
