Media mogul Muncie Daniels must fight for his innocence and his life after he stumbles upon a murder deep in the underworld. Colman Domingo’s first major TV role. I liked the beginning of the series, but I think the ending fell flat. A little flat for me. The series tried to end the plot on a more positive note, but struggled to find a solid ending. There are episodes that could have been cut. Watching episodes 6-7 was like hard work. I especially liked this message while living in this extremely polarizing climate. I would love a second season if they could improve the writing/plot, but if it’s really just a limited series, I think they missed the mark and that’s why I gave it a 7. I wanted more, but I’m not sure if it’s because this season deserves another season, or because I feel bad for them and want to give them a second chance.
