Scenario
Inspired by a real-life Hong Kong legal case, THE PROSECUTOR tells the story of a man who, after being indicted, falsely pleads guilty to drug trafficking. Despite the confession, the experienced police officer and prosecutor (Donnie Yen) handling the case is convinced of the man’s innocence and takes on the investigation himself. He risks his career and life to bring the real culprit to justice.
