Remake of El agente topo (2020)
Scenario
Charles, a retiree, finds a new lease on life when he answers an ad for a private investigator and becomes a mole in an undercover investigation at a retirement home. Michael Schur was inspired to create “A Man On the Inside” after watching the Chilean documentary “The Mole Agent.” He says: “Agent Mole” The documentary is powerful because it gives people an incredibly similar feeling, regardless of age, ethnicity or gender, and I would describe that feeling in a very reduced way as: “I have to call my mother.” In our show, we tried to do the same thing with the tone: is our show ultimately contributing to that feeling of wanting to call moms?.
Ted Danson is brilliant as usual
As I write this, I am currently on episode 5. This series is hilarious, thought-provoking and downright delightful.

The comedy is beautifully woven with genuine laughter
