Scenario
When Cardinal Lawrence is tasked with leading one of the world’s most secretive and long-running events, the selection of a new pope, he finds himself at the center of a conspiracy that could shake the very foundations of the Catholic Church. Diehz’s first major film appearance, having previously appeared in only two student shorts. He was an architect by profession until 2020, when his last child left home and he decided to pursue a new interest by taking online acting classes and auditioning.

This is perhaps the best film I’ve seen this year and I’ve seen quite a few

It’s a serious film, perhaps the only serious film I’ve seen this year and it can be considered an adult film because most of the many details in this film will not be picked up by a younger audience. There were only adults at the opening day matinee and it was the most crowded matinee I’ve attended so far this year.
It features a great cast and very good actors
The film has great color, detail, sets, writing, and plot with several twists and turns thrown in for good measure. I don’t really consider it a mystery as I figured out the plot from the beginning, but it’s presented very well. Overall, it’s a great film and I plan on seeing it again.
